i am snow

light snow today. pretty little things that float around and flit and fly and bump into each other. it takes a while for them to land but eventually they do end up falling into the place where they are meant to be.

i wonder if we are like snow.

we also float around, maybe randomly, bumping into people, going through jobs... flitting up, flitting down, flying round & round. but eventually, inevitably, we land at the exact place where we are meant to be.

in some town. maybe in a different country. or the same one we were born in. with a job that we like. with a person that we feel we can go on with. no more floating around.

i wonder how that would be?

at this point, i really do feel like one of those specks of white (maybe browner tho')... moving around, a bit directionless...only a general pull of gravity to guide (or ground) me. what to do next? how to go? who to be with? how to be with.

sigh. for now i am a speck of snow.

and i will dream of spring to end my floatings.
