visions of thailand

i recently came from a 3-week vacation in Thailand with my minamahal, gert.

Yes, the country deserves its tag of "Amazing Thailand". Its country landscape reminds me of our own breathtakingly beautiful sites in the Philippines. And its uncolonized and committedly buddhist culture is rich. It does, however, also have that libertine feeling of being a tourist playground. Re-invention is felt, if not encouraged.

but even more amazing than the country, i think, is getting to experience it with a wonderful man who is both your loved-one and dearest friend.
