happiness is sweet mangoes from the philippines

The only 'pasalubong' (typical Filipino phrase for gifts that one brings back after travel) that Gert asked from me was a ripe mango from the Philippines.

Papa bought a whole kilo, I think, taking care that they were a little bit still green and not very yellow so that they would be just right after a 14 hour flight. Unfortunately, I would only be able to bring two.

As you can see here, Gert really liked 'em mangoes!

Am hoping to get more mangoes in June!
